Former American Idol contestant Stephanie Edwards was arrested on Monday in Savannah, Ga., after allegedly getting into a girl fight.
According to authorities, the season 6 Idol finalist (she came in 11th in 2007) was taken into custody after Edwards had a physical altercation with Laquilla White in the middle of a street.
Edwards, 22, told officers that she had been constantly harassed by White, and finally went to the woman's home, where the confrontation turned physical. Each suffered minor injuries, but declined to go to the hospital.
Both women were arrested on a misdemeanor charge of fighting in public and booked at Chatham County Detention Center. They were released on $1300 bail.
