PINK FLOYD TEAMS UP WITH FLAMING LIPS.

Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne reveals none of the original members of Pink Floyd have given their blessings to the Oklahoma band's plans to perform the album in its entirety at upcoming festival shows - but a new merchandising team-up is as good as a call from Roger Waters.

Coyne says, "Their merchandising camp wants to do a Pink Floyd/Flaming Lips T-shirt. To me, that's a sure sign Roger Waters is saying, 'Even tho ugh I don't like them, I think I can make some money off them.'" The Flaming Lips first performed Dark Side of the Moon in its entirety at their annual New Year's Eve (31Dec) show in Oklahoma in 2009.
