BREAKING NEWS: MAN WANTED FOR ALLEGEDLY KILLING TORONTO RAPPER DON KARTEL CAUGHT BY POLICE. FANBASE OVERJOYED!

Mississauga – Peel Regional Police homicide detectives have charged a wanted suspect with First Degree Murder in the shooting death of Donald Richard GRANT.

On Sunday, November 7, 2010, at approximately 9:34 p.m., Peel Regional Police responded to a call on Ambler Drive in Mississauga for a victim who had been shot. Shortly after arriving, officers discoveredDonald Richard GRANT, a 27 year-old male from Toronto, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.


A Canada-wide warrant for First Degree Murder was issued for the arrest of Jerome DERBY, a 21 year-old male from Toronto. With information provided by the public, and the assistance of the Hamilton Police Service, investigators were able to locate and arrest the suspect in Hamilton. On Tuesday, August 2, 2011, investigators arrested and charged Jerome DERBY, a 21 year-old man from Toronto, with First Degree Murder.


DERBY was held overnight for a Bail hearing and will be appearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on August 3, 2011.

LinkJerome Derby was asked to turn himself in several times by myself and he ignored it. Now he was hiding in a remote area of Hamilton, Ontario and nabbed. Facebook fans are posting messages of joy all over Don's personal page. Above are the tweets that the some think may have to do with this investigation. Clearly Donald was telling someone he was not afraid of their gun. A tweet that caused Canada's TIME-like weekly magazine Macleans to do a tribute to him.
