Scandals are nothing new to American Idol — Antonella Barba’s nude pics, Frenchie Davis’ racy Web site, Corey Clark’s general existence — but David Hernandez made it into the Top 12, further than any other scandalized singer ever had, and he believes that his past as an exotic dancer didn’t factor into his early ousting.
