KAISER CHIEFS frontman RICKY WILSON is impressed with
OASIS rocker NOEL GALLAGHER's self-promotion skills - branding the star "a publicity machine". Gallagher took aim at Wilson's British band earlier this month (Aug08), comparing the group to 1960s light-hearted music troupe The Monkees. And Wilson has commended Gallagher's public relations skills - because in every interview he has recently fulfilled, the questioning links back to the Wonderwall hitmaker. Wilson says,
"He's really clever because every interview I've done in the last week has mentioned Oasis. "So I'm answering questions about their new record and he ends up in everybody's interviews. He is a publicity machine."
Noel Gallagher should be here next week for the Virgin Mobile music festival.
