#HNNMemorial The @PoliceNG AIG has DIED! #RIPIbrahimMaishanu also former Osun Police Commissioner

The AIG is DEAD! ‪#‎RIP‬ NPF officially announced the sudden death of AIG Ibrahim Maishanu, who died February 8, 2015 while undergoing treatment at an Indian Hospital. The deceased was the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Information Technology, Force Headquarters, Abuja until his death.

Maishanu was from Yabo Local Government Area of Sokoto State, born on October 11, 1959 and enlisted into the Force as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police on January 1, 1984. He had his initial training at the Nigeria Police College, Ikeja, Lagos. He held a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and had attended several professional courses both at home and abroad. He was an alumnus of NIPSS.

Meanwhile, Suleiman Abba, who is the Inspector-General of Police, as a matter of urgency, has redeployed 33 Commissioners of Police to various Commands and Formations. Some of you may remember Maishanu as Aregbe's Police Commisioner in Osun state

He was a true servant of the people!
