Once applied, it is then washed off and the hair begins to grow normal. No more dreadlocks. It is real African Magic. I will tell you more of the ceremony details later. Even I grew up and began to see Jamaicans and others with dreadlocks, I always asked my mom, why didn't they cut theirs? It is a name from heaven in our culture as well as theirs she said. We just choose to cut ours. What sickens me is the people who go to hair salons to turn their heads into dreads. Can't blame them. I permed my hair too so I can look like the white woman and even wear wigs.
Happy April Fool's Day!
