An 8-year-old American boy living in Canada. KJ called Dr Shriver's secretary and asked to talk to him after he refused to speak with any media. President Obama called from Air force One to apologize to Shriver and all American people with disabilities.
Oh what a year, the media rushed to get interviews with Special Olympics Chairman Dr Timothy Shriver the nephew of late President JFK as well as son of her sister Mrs Eunice Kennedy-Shriver.
KJ wanted Dr Shriver to know that he supports the R-Word Campaign. He did several media interviews and to my surprise Mr. John Nay the US Consul General called me and also they sent him a letter from the State department and Consulate to congratulate him. He spoke about his brother's Autism.
