Yes it's good and it is a derivative of Suya, another BBQ meat treat custom in Nigeria. I asked my fans and here's what they said. Most answers came from the Northern Nigerian crowd. The one above is the brand I ate a lot at MJ's in Canada. Below is the REAL DEAL in Nigeria. A small snack for a kid costs N100 and the kid's allowance is N20/week. Insane.
Why do #Hausas charge so MUCH for KILISHI???
Do they think that we can't kill a cow by ourselves and dry the hell out of it?? My Hausa fans need to answer this NOW!

Bilyaminu Abubakar Kurfi It costs alot in processing it. Buy the cow, slaughter it, separate the meat from the bones, slice it, dry it, apply so many ingredients before rosting it. Then it has to be kept in a glass-box which is transparent to attract customers.

Rahmatu Ibrahim I know u can kill a cow, but u cant preserve it like the hausas,to us kilishi is not like suya or roasted meat(balango).it is very special, so even in the north is costly, infact is not as cheap as u think of it over there.
