#HNNHealth: #SCHIZOPHRENIA blamed for gibberish during #MandelaMemorial man's goof.

#HNNAfrica now hears the sign language interpreter accused of using fake hand signals at Nelson Mandela's memorial service on Tuesday has said he suffered a schizophrenic episode during the event. Deaf organisations in South Africa said he had been signing "gibberish" and complained that he was a fraud. He is actually a sign language champ he said.

In an interview with local media, Thamasanqa Jantjie said he had been hearing voices in his head on stage and expressed sadness at what had happened. But there are allegations that the ANC had been warned after a previous meeting that he was a fake and there are renewed demands for answers from the government.

Why are people calling him a fake when he has a medical condition? If it had been Autism or even MS, Would we have said the same thing? Schizophrenia is a disease that has long gone ignored and a butt of jokes by people around the world. Even some of my haters have called me that word as a slur. Wake up people.
