The death of the deputy chairman, Board of Directors of the Sun Newspapers of Nigeria, Mr. Dimba Igwe was a big loss to Nigeria. May he rest in peace.Igwe was said to have died in the early hours of Saturday after being knocked down by a vehicle, while jogging around his residence in the Okota area of Lagos State. He was 58.

As a result of the accident, a family source hinted that Mr Igwe sustained a fatal injury and was immediately taken to the emergency unit of a hospital, where he underwent surgery, but died afterwards. The hit and run driver has not been found.
