The Nigerian military has told us many times that they have killed Shekau of Boko Haram. Is there a Shekau? The wannabe video guy seems to have 9 lives, so is this him? Officially, the military insists the real Mr. Shekau was killed by soldiers more than a year ago, but that his character had been assumed by another leader of the deadly group. The impersonator is the man who appeared in several Boko Haram propaganda videos, claiming he is Mr. Shekau, the military said.
Why hasn't the Nigerian Military told us that the guy in the video threatening to sell girls as slaves was an impersonator? No girls are missing either.
Earlier this year, I said that this impersonator guy was NOT Shekau. Nobody believed. There is no Shekau. If he were killed last year, why didn't the military confirm it. Same thing with Bin Laden. There was never any Osama, so why was his body tossed in the ocean?
