HE LAUGHS IT OFF: TIMBERLAKE CAUGHT BY TRAFFIC COP, Set to produce reality show.

Pop star JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE found himself on the wrong side of the law on Thursday (08May08), when he was booked for a parking violation in New York. The SexyBack hitmaker arrived at the MTV studios in the city ahead of the network's Fall 2008 Upfront Presentation - to inform artists about multi-platform opportunities on the music channel. But after leaving his black sports utility vehicle (SUV) outside the building, the star was handed a parking ticket by a warden upon his return to the car. However, the incident did little to dampen Timberlake's spirits - footage posted on TMZ.com shows the singer laughing and joking as the official handed him the penalty. The fine is probably peanuts to him!

In other news, he has teamed up with TV network MTV to produce a new reality series.
The singer will serve as an executive producer on a game show called The Phone which is due to air this autumn (08). The program will feature contestants following instructions on a cellphone and completing a mission to win a cash prize, with MTV comparing the format to a weekly "action-packed mini movie".
