Mandela goes home. It is time, high noon and the ceremonies that started 7am South African time is now concluding. I tweeted for 6 hours and they are tagged #HNNAfrica. The ceremony was attended by several world leaders including Joyce Banda of Malawi, Kenneth Kaunda of Zambia who sprinted onto the stage and gave his speech and also the Tanzanian President JM Kikwete all spoke. Even Ahmed Kathadra who was imprisoned with him at Robben Island spoke.
Oprah Winfrey, Richard Branson, Stedman Graham, Prince Charles were all present. Earlier during the week, the US Presidents were all present at the Soweto FNB stadium memorial service.
