Aisha a woman who spoke to me in Chibok (Credits Keminications Media) |
WATCH MY VIDEO OF HOW I MAY HAVE UNCOVERED FACTS ABOUT THE FAMILIES
To start with the principal LIED to authorities that she was missing 234 students. Sources at the DSS told me 270 and it's actually way more than that. I am estimating 330 girls are missing and so do my witnesses who say it's even MORE! Secrets between the state government and shady parents coupled with a school principal that needs to be locked up, a LIST of these kid's names have not been FULLY disclosed! What is keeping a list like that OUT?? Were they not registered for national exams (WAEC) the West African Examination Council?
Nigerians have long ignored the truth since we live in a country full of lies. Many things have happened in this country that people ought to be talking about and yet they keep silent. Another bomb goes off in Nyanya bus station and people are not as vocal but many are still screaming to have the girls back. Where are the faces of the 5-year insurgency that has plagued Nigeria?
The situation in Chibok seems unreal and what I heard is even worse. The core facts I heard on the streets from men and women are that these girls were never missing and they were allegedly taken at their parents will. What do I mean by that? Many parents were fully aware that they were being taken to be made child brides to insurgent types while some were not clear about what happened it's alleged.
This town is predominantly Christian. Why are we portraying it as a Muslim area? The images floating around social media shows girls in HIJABS! Why all these misinformation?
Like I said this is the word on the streets when I asked. Insurgents have long been using child brides as slaves for every chore they need in their hideouts, something I have once reported but nobody paid attention to.
These insurgent types are not necessarily Boko Haram, Musa, a man on the streets told me. There has been speculation on why so many ex and current lawmakers, Nigerian celebrities and stars around the world have cashed in on this story that's not even a new occurence.
In the last 18 months I have been tweeting MTV EXIT under my old handle @HipHossip which now belongs to my audio vault about the problem of Child Slavery and trafficking in Nigeria and helping to raise awareness but most Nigerians have ignored me citing poverty fuels slavery, hawking and trafficking. That is absolutely NO EXCUSE!
Only #HNNAfrica has gone down to the streets to speak to people. I TWEETED when I left there at Maiduguri airport. Aisha an orange seller pictured also told me she was an aunt to one of the missing girls and that she was fed up with the world attention and was more angry that she knew some of the mothers of girls in that school were part of the plan aka inside job, including her own SISTER.
Should the Principal be arrested and detained, Aisha agreed. Was this an inside job, both citizens (Aisha and Musa) agreed. Meanwhile the Governor of the state, Shettima is saying otherwise and many are asking where the pictures of the alleged victims are? Who are the fake moms crying at the steps of the National Assembly in Abuja. Who are these hired criers?
These are the images seen around the world and nobody but #HNNAfrica has elaborating on this further. Most of the global media are scared to go anywhere near Maiduguri, Nigeria which is the HOTBED and GROUND ZERO of the insurgency.
No world media is out there speaking to everyone, too many are scared to even step near Maiduguri. Come on world, lets stop this! Now comes the Nigerian police asking for the PICTURES of the missing girls from the families since the school has refused to release their WAEC (School Exams) register and their names claiming that the Defense department says it may compromise their safety. There are over 800 missing people mostly girls and women in Canada's Aborigine communities and I have seen all their pictures for years while I lived there.
Nigerian Senators passed a Child Bride law which has not been legally put into effect since it needs the President's signature. The law is being enacted illegally already with girls being shipped out to work as cooks, cleaners and slaves to insurgents in their hideouts.
Between the lawmakers hiding their names from the public and the parents allegedly involved in the inside job who refuse to produce their MISSING GIRLS on their posters and placards.
I warned that Boko Haram will start attacking schools way before this. Amnesty tweeted it and I spread it. No Nigerian media even BOTHERED! Some of those girls are NOT coming back anytime soon or have access to the outside world anymore.
It is time we end these child bride laws and other issues that compromise our children's safety. This will NOT be the LAST school. Security needs to become very tight in boarding schools now.
The boys schools in Yobe state was burned down and the same age of boys 12-17 were all SHOT DEAD even as some tried to flee.
Even our frustrated fed up Nigerian forces have KILLED our boys in Maiduguri saying they were allegedly SUICIDE BOMBERS. We CANNOT #BringBackOurBoys but What about our Sons too?
My final opinion on this story is that President Jonathan should address the nation on both Nyanya bombings and the missing/abducted/sold girls situation. His security chiefs are probably advising him and Nigerians MUST have patience.
While we are waiting for the President, maybe each of us can go out there to start BRINGING BACK OUR GIRLS from Rape, Incest, Slavery, Baby Factories and more atrocities girls go through in Nigeria.
Stay tuned for more updates @HNNAfrica on twitter.

#BREAKING I will now detail tweets regarding my visit to #Chibok and #Maiduguri yesterday regarding #bringBackOurGirls
UPDATE: May 4th 2014 President Jonathan declared tonight on his media chat that parents were hampering the investigation by not supplying photos of their daughters. Forces are working hard and it is a dead end without knowing who you are looking for.
Something doesn't make sense in this report, 1. Why would parents (Christians, according to you) push their daughters into slavery/forced marriage with muslims? 2. Did waec join in this lie too? 3. Why would they send their kids to school in the name of writting exam then handing them over to insurgents? 4. Why the mass wedding/ marriage or maybe money has been taken before then sent them for exams? 5. The names for the Christian Girls that was released isn't real too? 6. Of all people to base your findings on you chose an orange seller huh? Who maynot even believe in western education as a witness? Like seriously? 7. How come you didn't speak to the prinicpal of the school? 8.where re videos, pictures which proves that you were in Chibok bc this video accroding to you was taken @ ibadan?9. Let's assume that you re correct with these finding, what does the state governor, the Principal, council boss, police, Dsss and all those women stand to gain from all this or they planned the burning down of the school structure too to make their lie look real? 10. Again, what makes you think you re the only media person that's been on ground in Chibok or just because you didn't see any as at the time you arrived? Pls kindly give answers to these questions cos you saying this is a lie needs more fact to prove your theory than what you re bringing to the table right now. Vivien Ngozika
