These are the young ladies that look up to me and believe in me by inviting me on their radio shows, but most of all being in radio for 20 years, I look up to them and respect their hard work. Radio is not all that easy as many of you think. They work hard on mean shifts, constantly talking on air, telling people to turn their radios down while taking phone calls to avoid reverb echoes and also dishing out their love for the listener always checking your FB comments and tweets.

Tope Alabi known as Radio Queen is one of them and today is her birthday. Tope is the on-air personality at Star FM Ibadan in my hometown and I have worked with her a few times on her nightly show Wednesday thrill call #StopAndPlay where she gives upcoming artists a chance to be heard, playing their CD's on air and asking a judge to come in and assess them. I was one of those judges.
She is on-air 5pm daily till when she's done. Truly dedicated. Even does the Yoruba and English love dedication shows after brainboxing the music in Oyo State, Nigeria.
Today, she celebrates another birthday and we thank GOD for another year in her life.
