Bruno, the Anaheim Police K9 dog who was shot by a gang member during a manhunt in March, is going home today. Bruno is retiring from the force and will now be a full-time family dog.
The German shepherd was shot in the face and lost part of his lung. "There's no doubt in my mind that he took a bullet that would have ended up in one of us," Officer RJ Young says.
