As the recording industry festivities began last nite at the Clive Davis party, old man Bennett went onstage and asked for drugs to be LEGALIZED! Whitney's family not present for the show as they were already dealing with shock of her death heard what Bennett said!! Family sources told me he may have greatly offended them. Was Bennett automatically assuming drugs killed Whitney? Whitney used the drugs legal or not, so I feel it was not the forum or setting for Bennett to even utter that.
As you know he is also associated with another infamous impaired singer and that was Amy Winehouse. These artists did drugs at their own free will. I thought it was inappropriate and uncalled for. Above is what happens now that drugs are NOT legalized. Stars still use them! Look at Amy's mom's face at the memorial in front of her home. These are the faces we need to see.
