Bobby Brown was in Mississippi performing with Johnny Gill and the rest of New Edition when the news broke that Whitney had been found DEAD! At one point in the concert, a teary Brown shouted "I love you, Whitney!" and blew a kiss toward the sky. While performing "Tenderoni," Brown broke down, sobbing and asked the crowd to sing along. Brown and Houston were married from 1992 to 2007. I am hearing that Bobby is going in and out of crying spells and extremely distraught over his ex-wife's death.
Their only daughter, Bobbi Kristina, born in 1993 was said to have been SCREAMING all over the hotel lobby when they broke the news to her that her mom was found dead in the bathtub. Police denied her access to the 4th floor hotel room to see her mother's body. Whitney's aunt Dionne Warwick was also turned away. Police say the family and friends in the room were the ones that identified her. The family's relationship was chronicled on the reality TV series Being Bobby Brown in 2005 which I blogged and covered on location on invitation of Bobby and Whitney. In the days when nobody was blogging yet, I would report daily from the set during my days in Atlanta for my old blog ATL CelebrityNews.
