Dear #Hollywood, pls STOP cashing in on the #BringBackOurGirls saga. The US State department has warned Americans not to go near Borno state, Nigeria to start with so pls these promotional tweets used to boost your careers is getting boring.
Left to me I lived 30 years in the USA and have American children plus most of you saw Nigerians as scammers and bad people anyway so these sudden humanitarian social media postings are NOT needed.
#HNNAfrica has gone to Chibok, the story has a bigger picture. The Nigerian defense minister has thrown all enquiries to the state governor so we have our own problem to deal with right there.
No school register, list of names and pictures so lets deal with the scam ourselves. Too many stars and foreign media are messing up the investigation as it is. If you cannot go to Chibok to talk with the common man, don't overhype the investigation. This letter applies to Nigerian celebrities and foreign media holding the silly signs as well. Get your butts over there! Talk to the man on the street like I did.
When the whole world is screaming #BringBackOurGirls, have you thought, who are they speaking to?????
Your Girls indeed!! SMH people!
Thank YOU!
Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo
