Toronto Rapper Fin-S and I caught up in 2011 to do this interview that was lost in my archives only to move from Toronto to Nigeria and retrieve a lot of things. The blessing is that this is one of the rappers that one cannot forget after my 5 year asylum visa in Canada. One unique thing about him was his quest to step up and join me in the war against gun violence by simply using music to #EndGunViolence. He supported me at the anniversary presser for the late Jarvis St Remy in 2011 speaking to the media about this plague we have going on.

His song "Wake Up" chronicles that. There is still ongoing violence out there which is blamed on everything from no father in the house, no mother, bad education, no programs and all. 

But Fin-S's own mom DIED when he was so young, so what makes him successful as a person? His music is very popular in and outside the shores of Canada especially Europe. Listen to all what he told me when I caught up with him.

He is now a father and married to Ruth, his longtime partner and a music industry executive herself.
